Episode Summary: In this thought-provoking episode of Love & Speak the Truth, Sr. Brenda chats with Dr. Jillian Scherer who explores the need for deeper understanding and a slower pace in today’s fast-moving, divided society. She discusses how the culture of immediacy and the lack of genuine connection have created barriers, advocating for patience, listening and inclusion as key steps toward healing and unity. Dr. Scherer shares her unique journey as both a practitioner of ‘slow medicine’ and a lay minister, blending her medical expertise with her faith to care for the whole person.
