Annette Haseneder’s connection to the Mary Ward tradition began in the CJ schools of Munich Nymphenburg, Germany, and Ascot, England, as well as through the Ignatian lay groups of Christian Life Community. With a background in teacher training and a master’s in school management, she has continually explored how Mary Ward’s vision, contemporary educational standards, Ignatian values, and the aspirations of today’s students can come together in a meaningful way. Since 2021, Annette has been the CJ formation consultant and school profile coordinator for the Middle European Province (MEP). Her work focuses on what makes these schools unique, how they can preserve Mary Ward’s rich legacy while preparing students for the future, and how to pass on her inspiring spirit to new generations. Annette and her husband, Thomas, live in Germany. They have two adult children, and she enjoys modern art, literature, and traveling.
