Justly, Tenderly, Humbly with Fr. Tom McQuaid
Tom McQuaid is a retired priest of the Archdiocese of Chicago. Tom served as priest for 45 years. He served on the south side of Chicago in underserved and under-resourced parishes in the black community. Tom also lived and work as parish priest in a small village, Bura Tana, in Kenya as a volunteer for seven years with Maryknoll Missionaries. Having lived, served and learned in these communities he describes his life and experiences as rich in faith, joy and generosity. Other ministries include six years as Pastor of St. Leonard Parish in Berwyn, IL, 6 years in Priest and faculty formation in Mundelein, IL and 8 years of service in Catholic Relief Services. A true servant leader, preacher, teacher and mentor, Tom dwells on the blessing of serving the people of God by living a simple life modeling living with less so that resources will be available for those in need.
