U.S. Region JPIC Circle Special Project Grant Request
U.S. Region JPIC Circle Focus Statement
“As IBVMs who are contemplatives in action, we commit ourselves to be in ‘communion’ with each other and all God’s creation as instruments of justice, peace and reconciliation: specifically, regarding immigration, human trafficking and the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals. The rights of women and children are central to our specific concerns.”
The JPIC Circle is offering a grant for a Special Project which carries out our Focus Statement. We envision the grants will enable the recipients to engage in concrete action in a situation of need in immigration, human trafficking or in carrying out the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals.
The Circle has $5,000.00 to fund grant opportunities this year. We invite IBVM Sisters, Companions or persons referred to the Circle by a Sister or Companion, to apply for a one-time, nonrenewable grant. Applications are accepted on a quarterly basis and submission deadlines are listed below.
Grant Recipients will provide follow up details to the IBVM JPIC Circle including how the grant was used and what results/impacts were realized. Photos of progress and completion of project are also required.
How To Submit Your Application Please return your grant application form to your IBVM Sister or Companion. They will submit on your behalf.
