Education: Elementary School Teacher in St. John of the Cross, (Western Springs), St. Catherine of Alexandria, (Oak Lawn), St. Raymond Nonatus, (Joliet), and Immaculate Conception with RCIA, (Morris). Liturgy Ministry: Member of Parish Worship Commission and Lector Planning Committees for Parish Missions and Diocesan Celebrations of Religious Life . IBVM Community Ministry: Province Secretary (2004-2020) . Worked with Continuing Education Committees, Formation Board, Liturgy planning and music ministry (guitarist) for Jubilees, Funerals, Assemblies, Gatherings and International Chapter Meetings. Worked with Sisters from several communities with vocation work around the diocese and helped working yearly for the Celebration of Religious Life for the Joliet Diocese. I worked on all the graphic designs in the book "The Constitution of the Institute of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Volume II". International Community Ministry: Worked with Maria Bierer at “The Feast or Mind and Heart” near Detroit, Michigan, along with the Sisters from the United States, Canada and Provinces around the world. My part was to plan the liturgy so that it would extend throughout the day. During this day, the Sisters and the Associates, worked at table groups to prepare the various parts of the liturgy: opening liturgy, readers, the priest prayed the Eucharistic prayers, Communion, and closing the liturgy. Vocation Ministry: Throughout the Diocese, the Joliet Area Vocation Association of Sisters from several communities were involved in working together to share Religious Life: Visiting 5th through 8th grades in Catholic Schools, The ‘Here I Am Lord’ Conference for Diocesan grade school, Seventh Grade interviews doubling as English skill projects,Present at the University of St. Francis in Joliet for three days during Women’s History Month for young women to ask about religious life, The Diocesan Youth Leadership Conference for high school students “Supper with the Sisters” held for events for young women interested in religious life, The National Catholic Youth Conference in Indianapolis, Indiana, to meet and chat as many as possible of the 20,000 youth and young adults. Social Ministry: Motivated by the “Courage to Move”, I was asked to travel to Tacambero, Mexico, with Mary Wright and Anne Donnelly to consider the possibility of our Sisters to opening a new mission. Once a month, I worked with Will County Habitat for Humanity as a secretary for a time, 1991-1999, also connected with Church Outreach Committee. In 2001, I completed my Master of Arts in Pastoral Studies at The Catholic Theological Union in Chicago. My project was “God as Friend: A Model of God of the Writings of Mary Ward and Sallie McFague.” In 2015, I composed my one and only song, “Sing a New Song unto the Lord”.
