Sr. Noelle Corscadden, a Loreto Sister from Ireland, has devoted her life to education, leadership, and service. With 17 years of experience in education as a teacher, principal, administrator, and trustee, she has been a dedicated advocate for learning and development.

Noelle has also spent 14 years in leadership roles at both the Province and Institute levels. As Institute Leader, she played a pivotal role in advancing the unification process between the IBVM and CJ congregations, known as “Becoming One.”

Her commitment to social justice deepened during her time in Rwandan refugee camps in Tanzania and through her work with Mary Ward International. This experience ignited a lifelong passion for addressing poverty and empowering communities.

Currently, Noelle is spearheading the establishment of a new Loreto mission in Aweil, South Sudan. This transformative project includes a co-educational primary school, a secondary boarding school for girls, and a primary care facility. Through this mission, she is bringing hope and opportunity to the people of Aweil, especially young women, whose lives will be profoundly impacted by education and care. In addition, Noelle work the Province Education Ministry, is a facilitator and a member of the International Commission on the Jesuit Brother.
