Mary Ward long ago chose the guidelines of Ignatius in forming her community. Central to these was Union – of minds and hearts no matter where her little institute was. Because of political and geographic challenges her community, rather than being one, was splintered into small groups.  Now, however, the barriers are melting away as we move toward that great Union of Minds and Hearts so central to Mary Ward’s dream.
